What Apple needs to see in a Lovable app
A Lovable app wrapped as-is is "just a website" to Apple, and Guideline 4.2 rejects that. These are the changes we make before we submit.
Native push notifications
A real reason to install: your app can bring users back. It's one of the native features that show Apple your app is more than a website.
An offline screen
Your app opens and explains itself without a connection, instead of showing a blank page or a browser error.
App-style navigation
No browser bars, no dead ends, and links that leave the app open in Safari, the way reviewers expect.
Sign in with Apple, when needed
If your app offers Google sign-in, Apple requires a privacy-focused option too (Guideline 4.8).

We run our checker on your Lovable app, test it on real phones and list what the stores will want.

We add the manifest, service worker, push and offline screen through GitHub. You keep editing in Lovable.

What we need from you

- An Apple Developer account ($99/year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 one-time), with us invited as a team member
- A custom domain for your app is recommended (yourapp.com rather than yourapp.lovable.app)

What founders ask before they start.
Can you publish a Lovable app to the App Store?
Yes. Lovable builds web apps (React and Vite). We wrap yours in an iOS app with native push notifications and an offline screen, which gives Apple more than a website, and submit it from your Apple Developer account.
Why do Apple reviewers reject Lovable apps?
Most often for Guideline 4.2, minimum functionality: the app only shows a website. Other common reasons are a missing privacy-focused sign-in option (Guideline 4.8) and broken links or blank screens. We fix these before we submit.
Can I get an APK of my Lovable app?
Yes. Google Play needs an app bundle (AAB), which we build and upload for you. We can also give you an APK to install on Android phones directly for testing.
Do I have to rebuild my app in React Native or Flutter?
No. Your Lovable app stays the only codebase. The store apps load it, so what you change in Lovable reaches your users without a new review, unless the change needs new native features.
What does it cost?
Android only is $149. iOS and Android together is $349, or $249 for our first 5 apps. Apple's and Google's own developer fees are separate.
